Spring Bear Hunt, Boulder Mountains, Utah 2019

Fun video from the Utah Spring Bear Hunt to the Boulder Mountains I went on with my buddy Kyler (he was tag holder). As a disclaimer, if you are looking for a kill shot, we didn’t harvest a bear. It WAS still a successful hunt though. Fighting the weather (constant rain and snow) made the days hard, but we put in a lot of miles and even chased an old sow in bad weather for 13 hours before having to call it quits and pull the dogs off well after dark when she wouldn’t tree.

It may sound like an excuse for not filling a tag, but honestly, if you count a successful hunt as a dead animal, you are going about it all wrong. Success was found through the memories and knowledge we gained on this adventure and hopefully we can get another bear tag and do it all over again!

Check out the hunt and good times as we discuss how important Crocs are to hunting camp, “Bearology,” sunflower seed flavors, the weather, elk steaks and other stuff! Leave a comment if you like it, or if you don’t, that’s cool too.
